Beans may be the answer to a healthy liver, and a healthy liver is imperative for a healthy life. If that’s not enough to convince you to eat more beans, consider how cheaply you can get them. A bag of friend beans is mere pennies a plateful and they are simple to cook: just soak them for 8 to 10 hours in two changes of water. Drain and empty into a slow cooker filled with water or boil in a large pot for an hour or two and drain.
